HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Well...New Religious Education Year. It’s still 100 degrees in the shade and the slip and slide marks are still in the yard, but it’s time to start our new curriculum. Here’s what each class will be doing:

The "Kids Club House" (Ages 5-9) The Kids Club House will share an adventure called UU Super Heroes, a values-based Unitarian Universalist identity curriculum. UU Superheroes will introduce children to UU's who have acted with courage and wisdom in their attempts to live their lives fully and make the world a better place for others.

The "Tween" Class (Ages 10-14)The Questing Year engages our kids in learning "quests" throughout the year. These quests are designed to teach them about themselves, Unitarian Universalism, social action, and spiritual exploration. The year culminates with the Tween Class presenting a worship service for Children's Worship.

The Teen Class - The Teen Class will take part in a multi-media based discussion group on Sunday mornings. They are also busy planning some other evening and weekend adventures, just for fun. Some of those plans may be approved by the adults.

Bring the baby!
Our nursery is always a buzz with activity. Qualified nursery personnel are on hand from 9:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Sundays. Sometimes there are songs, stories, toys, games and nutritious snacks. For others there is just a nice crib to nap in and a big person to hold you while you cry.

Share the fun! We're looking forward to another great year in Religious Education and we would love to share the fun! Come join us in RE as a classroom volunteer. Those who are interested should contact Jake Jacobson, Religious Education Committee Chair, at, or Linda Sagaribay, Religious Education director at
