The UU Experience (March 2011 Newsletter Content)

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Unitarian Universalist Association, but Unitarians and Universalists were alive and well for centuries before that merger. In April, join Rev. Pam to learn more about Unitarian Universalism, our history of social justice and of theological discovery, our congregation's roots and who we are, our rituals and why we do them, our process of governance, our beliefs and this great tradition which we all share. This is a perfect class for new and long-time UU’s (and those wondering whether they are UU or who are just curious about us).

Participants will have a fuller experience by attending all three classes, but participants may come to one or two classes only as they are able. Please sign up by contacting the church office ( or 940-566-1286) or online through the Fellowship’s Facebook page. Classes will be held Wednesdays, April 6, 13, and 20 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at DUUF.
