* SURPRISE GIFTS FOR EACH REGISTERED STUDENT *

9:30 AM

Wave Runners, 4 years-1st grade, explore Spirit Play, a Montessori based program that shares stories from our six sources which include Unitarian Universalism, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, science, and history.

Wind Gliders, 2-3rd graders explore The Signs of Our Faith and the Unitarian Universalist quest for knowledge, reverence for life, supporting one another, and public witness.

Mountain Climbers, 4-5th graders explore Toolbox of Faith, reflecting on “tools” such as integrity, courage, and love as tools they can use in living their lives and building their own faith.

Fire Breathers, 6-12th graders explore Riddle and Mystery, where they will process the “Big Questions”: Does God Exist? What happens when we die? Can we ever solve these mysteries? And ultimately, what does being a UU mean to me?

11:30 AM

Children’s Chapel, children and youth of all ages gather in worship, just like our adults, through storytelling and community sharing. Following their worship, they will break into age based groups to participate in faith based activities, to deepen their experience.

Our Whole Lives (OWL), grades 4-6 and 7-9, explore honest, accurate information about sexuality and changes in life. OWL dismantles stereotypes/assumptions, builds self-esteem, fosters healthy relationships, improves decision making, and has the potential to save lives.

PLEASE NOTE:  Starting in October, a Middle School Youth Group and a High School Youth Group each meet on Wednesday evenings to build community.
