Parent and Youth Orientation
Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm
at Denton Unitarian Universalist Fellowship
Do you know a high school student who is ready to explore
their beliefs/values and to deepen their understanding/awareness of self? We
welcome all high-school-aged youth and their parents/guardians to join us for this
session to learn more about the Coming of Age series. Coming of Age helps youth
in grades 9-12 (or equivalent) to be their best selves through exploring
beliefs, promoting justice, building relationships, being a leader, finding
spiritual grounding, and articulating what is important to them. Classes will
meet Wednesday evenings beginning in mid-August and continue through May 2018
(with an optional trip in June 2018).
For more information (and to RSVP) email hs@dentonuuf.org.
This series is open to all youth regardless of their membership or
participation at Denton Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. The program is
non-dogmatic and open to a diversity of beliefs and backgrounds.
